The medical information fields on your Emergency Profile (including blood type, allergies, medications, and medical conditions) are provided solely as a reference tool for first responders and are not reviewed, verified, or endorsed by Scansecure.

• Scansecure does not employ or engage licensed medical professionals to review your profile content.
• We make no representation that the medical information you store is accurate, current, or clinically appropriate.
• Medical professionals accessing your profile should independently verify any critical clinical information before acting on it.
• Do not rely solely on your Scansecure profile for treatment decisions.

Scansecure is not an emergency response service, alarm system, dispatch service, or any form of monitored safety solution. We do not:

• Monitor your health, location, or safety in real time.
• Automatically alert emergency services when you are in distress.
• Guarantee that any person will scan your card during an emergency.
• Guarantee that emergency responders in your area are trained to look for or use QR-based emergency cards.
• Ensure that your Emergency Profile will be accessed, read, or acted upon in any particular emergency scenario.

In any emergency situation, always call 112 (India's unified emergency helpline) or have someone near you do so. Your Scansecure card is a supplementary identification aid — it is not a replacement for proactive emergency communication.

The accuracy, completeness, and currency of information displayed on your Emergency Profile is entirely your responsibility. Scansecure:

• Does not verify, cross-check, or validate any information entered by users.
• Cannot be held liable for outcomes arising from inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete profile information.
• Strongly recommends that you review and update your Emergency Profile regularly, especially after changes in medications, medical conditions, or emergency contact details.

Similarly, information published on the Scansecure website (blog posts, FAQs, educational content) is provided for general informational purposes and may not be current, complete, or applicable to your specific circumstances. Scansecure reserves the right to update or remove website content at any time without notice.

While Scansecure strives to maintain high availability of our servers and Emergency Profile pages, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available service. Profile access may be interrupted due to:

• Scheduled maintenance or system upgrades (we will attempt to notify users in advance).
• Unplanned server outages, network failures, or third-party infrastructure issues.
• Force majeure events including natural disasters, cyberattacks, or government-imposed internet restrictions.
• Loss or damage to the physical card rendering the QR code unscannable.
• The scanning device lacking internet connectivity at the time of scan.

Scansecure shall not be liable for any harm, loss, or adverse outcome resulting from the inability to access an Emergency Profile at any given moment. Users are advised to also carry supplementary identification and inform close contacts of their medical information independently of Scansecure.
